There are so many things to do in Cornwall, but we’ve mentioned our favourites below.
Looe & Polperro
Oaklands Park is the perfect base for exploring nearby seaside towns! Picturesque Looe is home to beautiful winding streets, stunning coastal views and the Looe Monkey Sanctuary! Wander the streets alone or introduce the area to your guests…
Polperro is an unspoiled fishing village beloved by many artists over the years. The village and its harbour provide some wonderful walking routes, plenty of places to eat, drink and relax, alongside galleries and a model village.
Shopping, Museums & More in Plymouth
Take a trip to this bustling maritime city for shopping, restaurants, cafes and more! Once you’ve finished exploring the cobbled streets’ shops and cafes, you can learn more about the infamous Mayflower and get inspired at the city’s latest art museum, The Box Plymouth, or catch a performance at The Arts Institute.
Over 400 Beaches To Explore
South Cornwall’s magical coastline is just a stone’s throw away; take to the beaches for sun-bathing on golden sands, swimming, or exploring rockpools. The more intrepid explorer can discover shipwrecks along the coast or explore the beautiful nature reserve on Looe Island.
Take to the sea with local boat & fishing trips, watch budding Olympians train, or try some of the action for yourself!
A family trip to Cornwall wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the Eden Project (just 35 minutes away) and plenty of National Trust locations including Lanhydrock (30 minutes away).
For those looking for a bit more adventure, The Adrenalin Quarry (20 minutes away) has activities for all ages! Whether you’re getting stuck into the fun yourself, or just cheering from the side-lines, you can have a go at everything from axe throwing or zooming down a 490m zipwire, to jumping around their aquapark or sitting on their 150ft high swing!
